My family and I have been drinking raw milk for over 15Â years. I drank it when I was pregnant and my children drink it every day. They are all a healthy weight for their ages, yet it’s no surprise that they are quite a bit heavier (not visually .. you notice when you pick them up!) than children of the same age, size and height due to the heaviness of their bones. Raw milk builds dense bones in children, folks. No osteoporosis, cavities, or broken bones in their future (barring getting hit by the proverbial bus)!
Raw Milk Rocks!

Hi! I’m still breastfeeding my 10 month old but we have introduced whole foods. I make yogurt (whole fat from raw milk) at home. I was wondering when I can start giving it to my daughter? I wasn’t planning on giving her milk to drink until she was 12 months old, and to be honest, some of the fear mongering websites have gotten me a little freaked out…

Our taxes should be used to regulate the sale of raw milk not restrict it!

hi Sarah, I`m from Quito-Ecuador. I´m trying to switch from a macrobiotic diet to a traditional one. I want to know how you use de raw milk as you dont boil it. In Ecuador raw milk has always been boiled and then trasferred to refrigerator. Please explain to me. The only idea that comes to my mind is making yogurt with raw milk. Thank a lot for your blog.

I had many failed attempts at getting low temp. pasteurized and/or non-homogenized milk from health food stores. It came down to me only being able to get Organic Valley milk for 10.00 a gallon. I am happy to say that I finally found a local source for raw milk for 8.75 a gallon and have been drinking it for 2 weeks now. I feel so much better knowing where my milk comes from. The first time my 2 year old tasted it, she chugged it. She obviously tastes a difference and so do the rest of us!

Your child will thank you one day for your persistence at sourcing a quality raw milk for her to drink, Sarah. Bravo to you! 🙂
