Doctors are making money – LOTS of money for prescribing drugs to you and your family. Chemotherapy kickbacks are the worst. How much are they getting? Check out the detailed infographic below for the shocking statistics. This revenue windfall absolutely has the potential to sway prescribing decisions. Any doctor who claims otherwise is in La La Land.
The practice of drug kickbacks to doctors is a big reason for the the ever increasing prices of drugs and the huge problem of drug affordability.
Not only is this practice of drug kickbacks extremely unethical, it is a danger to your health and the health of your loved ones, particularly if they are in the hospital and vulnerable to exploitation due to serious illness.
Laws that will took effect in 2013 required all pharmaceutical companies to disclose their payments to doctors. This is not enough, however, as doctors asked about their drug kickbacks usually report biased information that their patients readily believe.

Anyone know how I can find a top holistic doctor/clinic that does remote diagnostic testing/blood work? I want to do the best/most up-to-date testing to make sure all is ok. Beyond a general check-up. My choices are limited (as far as I know) in Orlando, FL.

Finally someone who will “tell it like it is”. I am now having a problem of finding a physician locally. After tons of research in an effort to find one for myself I am close to giving up. My last one “fired” me because I wanted to ask questions concerning prescriptions she wanted to prescribe plus the fact she did not want to take time to listen to what I had to say about how I felt physically. I put so much trust in doctors through the years to the point of getting cut on and taking prescriptions that did not agree with me, to where I have stopped going and don’t know where to start to find a reliable, caring, ethical family physician. I found every doctor whom I have seen and any I thought of going to locally have all taken drug “kick-backs”. Just today I was “chewed” out by a NP for not having a doctor. When I told her about my problem as above mentioned, she told me I was wrong, that the by law as of 2008 and the Sunshine Law, doctors no longer were incentivized by pharmaceutical companies. Just another person in the medical industry trying to BS me again. Frankly, I did not reach this age of 63 and frequented the doctors that I have, to be told by a 30-something year old that I am totally ignorant and that I have not seen the drug peddlers with their large suitcases in the doctor’s offices and what is going on as a result thereof.
