Michael Schmidt, Canadian farmer, longtime raw milk activist, and Board member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, will be sentenced by Ontario Judge Peter Tetley on November 25, 2011 at 9:30 am per a recent appellate ruling which overturned a previous court decision that he did indeed have a legal right to provide cowshare owners with raw milk.
This September 2011 ruling convicted Michael on 15 of 19 charges and shockingly reversed the lower court’s decision to acquit him.
Michael is convinced that Raw Milk Moms played a pivotal role in ending his hunger strike;  it’s time to follow up this success by writing Judge Tetley to plead for leniency in Michael’s sentencing next week.
Judge Tetley is no doubt contemplating the case at this very moment as there is little more than a week to go before he announces his decision.
There is no time to delay.
Here is how to contact Judge Tetley:

Judge Tetley is either a man of principle and integrity, or he is not. Unfortunately, current events bear out that we have more than a few sociopaths in positions of political, corporate, government leadership and law. Do psychopathic personalities respond to pleas of leniency, compassion, sympathy? Perhaps, more than anything, Judge Tetley’s ruling will reveal what kind of person he is, whether Canadians can trust his judgment. The appellate courts ruling should galvanize the Canadian public to get rid of those judges.

As a Canadian, I am also so embarassed. And outraged.
I especially liked your point about the fact that there are no victims. Especially because there are no victims, this should not have been overturned. The cause for overturning it should only have been instigated by injured parties, definitely not the government (in my opinion). Since there are none, this makes the vendetta against Michael just spiteful, stupid and WRONG and a violation of his rights and freedoms.
I am outraged that my tax dollars are going to persecute him and anyone else like him that is just trying to make an honest living providing a product that people WANT!

This is so unreal. That he could really be convicted and sentenced for milking cows and selling milk! It’s unfathomable. How many years did people milk cows to sell, trade or barter the milk so that others would drink the milk? This is bizarre moment in history. Thanks for providing all the contact info. I don’t have your resources or your reach, but I’ll do my part and share the links/. Thanks!
