The expansion of Medical Fascism in the United States continues unabated.
Just a few days ago, Kristen LaBrie, the loving, caring mother of a severely autistic boy suffering from non-Hodgkins lymphoma, received the shockingly brutal sentence of 8-10 years for withholding chemo meds from her son because she could not bear the pain and suffering the side effects caused him.
Is this where our society has come? A grieving Mother who made the call to withhold chemo meds out of compassion is convicted of attempted murder?
Prosecutors argued that the cancer that Jeremy suffered from had a “cure” rate of 85-90% under the barbaric, two year treatment plan proposed by his oncologist.
Ms. LaBrie followed doctor’s orders for the majority of the treatment, but failed to follow through in the final months as the side effects made Jeremy so sick she was afraid the meds would kill him in his very fragile state of health.
LaBrie admitted being remorseful for her actions because she missed her son and thinks about him every day. Should she be punished when there is no guarantee that Jeremy would even be alive today if she had administered the chemo meds? Surely her grief is punishment enough?
All this verdict does is ominously send a message to other parents that refusing conventional medical treatment is a FELONY same as if you held a gun to someone’s head.
How insane is that logic?
Ms. LaBrie’s older son Matthew wrote a letter pleading for leniency for his Mother. He described her as “unbelievably kind, caring and devoted” to her autistic son Jeremy. In addition, dozens of letters of support from doctors and nurses with autistic children were submitted to the judge asking for similar leniency.
In the end, the judge refused any such leniency and instead described Ms. LaBrie’s choices as “acts that really do chill one’s soul”.
I’ll tell you what chills my soul – judges who are unable to acknowledge that a parent has the right to choose treatment for his or her sick child as well as the freedom to change direction when a chosen treatment is obviously causing undue pain and distress – whatever the outcome.
Judges have no business playing God and asking “what ifs” in situations such as this no matter what probabilities for “successful” treatment Big Pharma robot oncologists spout on the witness stand.
There is no doubt that Ms. LaBrie has unwittingly become a symbol of the dire need for some sort of Medical Freedom Act in this country. Shackling parents and hauling them away is not the answer.

Your natural rights as a parent are under attack.
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is seeking to impose a deceptive international treaty on the United States. It looks like it gives rights to children, but it actually takes control away from parents (AND children), and gives it to the government.
The solution is to install an amendment to the Constitution that would protect the sacred, natural role of parents.
If you are a parent or plan to be one, or just care about your country’s future, you NEED to learn about this! Please take time to learn about this issue, and support the amendment by signing the petition. This is an issue for both left and right!
The heart of the matter is something that was already touched on in this blog post: who has the right to tell a parent whether or not to vaccinate, whether or not to use chemo, what to feed their kids for lunch, how to discipline (non-abusively), or the type of education the child will receive?
Are these decisions for social workers, judges, and politicians to make? No, these decisions have always naturally been the parents’. We need to make these natural rights legal rights in the United States, because every day they’re being infringed upon.

This story is a sad statement of the inability to distinguish between abuse/neglect and love/compassion. I wonder if that judge would feel differently if he’d seen someone he loved withering away to nothing under chemo. Maybe that would give him a paradigm shift. God comfort that mother – He’s the only one who can.
I suppose the lesson is to keep kids as far away from conventional medicine as possible. Innocent children need to be protected from the profiteering genocide called vaccines and chemo.

Even if people have been “saved” by chemo that doesn’t erase the fact that better alternatives exist. But modern medicine continues its bizarre obsession with chemicals though most cancer is caused by chemicals in first place. And what right do you have to call me overdramatic?

People put so much faith in their doctors without realizing that disease is not caused by a lack of a drug. Of course a quack conventional doctor isn’t going to offer holistic treatments! Believe me, alternative med. is usually better. Kids getting cancer is a sure sign of extreme environmental toxins and malnutrition. Besides natural/alternative medicine already have the cure to most of everything. Believe me, alternative health field is far superior and I know people who owe their life (and their kids lives) to alternative medicine. Generally, I believe people should stay away from conventional medicine as much as possible. The whole reason kids get leukamia to begin with is due to exposure to enviromental toxins and chronic nutritional deficiencies (and the same thing goes for adult cancers). Kids need nutrition and nature, not chemicals.
And thats why “modern” medicine is a hoax. Those medical advancements wouldn’t be nessecary if “modern” medicine would place the importance of nutrition and enviroment above drugs.
It isn’t fair for the mom, don’t you think she has suffered enough. This is just one more case of the government stepping in where it doesn’t belong, telling us how we need to live our lives.

I agree that this is totally wrong and barbaric. It’s all in the name of money. This judge only listens to mainstream nonsense that cancer is a death sentence and that the only way to deal with it is to use caustic chemo and radiation. The FDA’s grip on this country is what is even more barbaric.

Tragic story, one among many. We need The Constitution amended in this regard. Parentalrights.org is working diligently on doing this. If we cannot amend our Constitution then the laws in all 50 states on children and parents will be superseded by international law (the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child). If you think parent child laws are bad now, they will get much worse under this international law. We cannot wait until our rights are formally demolished. We must act now to stop international law and protect these two key principles:
Fit parents should be allowed to direct the upbringing of their children.

I believe it’s widely thought that adults are free to refuse to take/use any kind of medical treatment as they wish, but that they can’t do that for children who are not old enough to decide for themselves. The state protects these children by deferring to the doctor’s judgment about what treatment is needed, and it may be something as simple as a blood transfusion that most of us would’t think twice about.
It’s very interesting to me to read all the posts about “killing your baby” and protecting life at all costs from people who also clearly believe this mother had the right to choose death for her BORN son. This is very illogical.
I’m actually pro-choice. And I assure you that chemo along with many other conventional treatments have killed many kids. Your posting nonsense comments in an attempt to defend a corrupt industry. Protect kids? If you really care about kids health you’ll stop shoving worthless toxic drugs down their throat and place prevention above simply covering up the symptoms. Kids shouldn’t even have cancer and they shouldn’t need to ever go to a doctor.
